Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and having him tutor my Grandson Skyler, and I cannot believe the difference in the short time that Mike has been working with Skyler. Skyler waits by the door for Mike to come and now enjoys reading more and feels comfortable reading. I am sure in no time at all Skyler will be reading at his grade level thanks to Mike.

My niece, Ashley, was really struggling in her Algebra class. She was repeating the class for the 2nd time and still not "getting it". I had worked with Mike Remeika in the school system in the past and knew he was now tutoring. I knew first hand of his knowledge in math and of his ability to break it down to students in a way they seemed to understand.
I arranged with Ashley’s family for me to take her to have a few sessions with him before the final exam. He was very accommodating to the short time frame we had to work with and she seemed very responsive to him. Unfortunately, she had a lot of catching up to do, and it appears that we waited too long to get her the help she needed. Although she did not pass that summer school session, she did pass it the 3rd time around!
Now I have learned she did not pass the math proficiency last year either. The counselor indicated the school won't be offering any review or practice for it until her senior year. I will not be waiting until the last minute again; we will be scheduling more sessions with the tutor soon.

My 15 year old daughter has struggled in math for over 2 years. Last year she had all A's and a C..in math. She has been so frustrated and it had begun to effect her self esteem. We have been with Mike for only a couple of months, but my daughters grade is now an A in Geometry! Her self esteem has improved. She is even helping some of the other kids in her class! I almost cried when I went on and saw A+ next to a geometry test grade on line. This has been a really good decision for our family!!
